The
MOVING idea, to foster the use
of active learning teaching methods in a
set of european schools through a Comenius
1.3 school development project (later changed to a Comenius
school partnership under the Lifelong Learning
Programme), first emerged in a Comenius Contact
Seminar that took place in Alden Biesen, January 11 15,
2006.
|
|
|
|
|
|
The MVING partner schools mainly aim to motivate
in each one of them a growing number of teachers
using new, more effective, teaching methods. For
that purpose, pedagogical approaches in the field
of active learning methods will be, in a
cooperative way, compared, adapted (to the
specific context of each school) and
experimentally adopted to promote
active, pupil-centered, learning.
The MVING project will also, in each
school, deepen the sense of
belonging to a community at a local, national and
European level.
